We are based at the mountainous north end of Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, in the region of Trentino.
The area is a paradise for lovers of sport and outdoor activities with it’s fantastic mediterranean climate and verdant landscape of vineyards, olive groves and orchards set against a backdrop of towering mountains.
You can ride climbs made famous by the Giro d’Italia, Giro del Trentino and many other pro races. Great champions like Francesco Moser, Maurizio Fondriest, Gilberto Simoni built their careers on these roads and several current professionals including Roman Kreuziger and Daniel Oss live and train here.
Our routes are meticulously designed to take you on some of the most beautiful roads the region has to offer, through some of the most spectacular scenery you will find anywhere. The majestic landscapes and beautiful climate provide a luminous backdrop to the fascinating history and culture of the area.
The rides begin in Arco and Torbole sul Garda, both small towns with lots of cafes and restaurants, great coffee, pizza and gelato. Torbole is on the lake shore and Arco is a few kilometres away, overlooked by it’s famous Castle and Monte Stivo, both towns have a sporty vibe and are popular with cyclists, rock climbers and windsurfers. Using this area as your base will allow you to really get to know it and experience the amazing cycling it has to offer rather than just passing through and getting a fleeting taste.
Our rides take in everything from the pista ciclabile (bike paths) through vineyards and orchards to the climbs of Monte Baldo, Monte Stivo and Monti Lessini - spectacular scenery with an alpine feel.
There’s a great variety of routes available but most will involve a climb at some stage - some moderate, others more challenging and a few notorious and not for the faint hearted! Your efforts will be generously rewarded with unforgettable experiences and of course the routes will always be tailored to suit the abilities of the group.
You will ride the famous climbs in the area and the many hidden, back roads that most don’t know about and have little to no traffic. Of course, there will be opportunities for coffee and cake stops, pasta, polenta, strudel or whatever along the way. After a perfect day on the bike in the heat of the hills you can finish off at the beach with a cooling swim in the lake!
